    Johnny, man I remember growing up in Seattle in the mid 80's and I was the same way. Punk rock was my thing, but I got into the other shit too bigtime. Back then it wasnt known as Goth though. I don't know when that name came along. They were "batcavers". I was totally into Skinny Puppy and Ministry among others.

    If I remember correctly The first punk album I bought was the 1945 EP, then DK's "Fresh Fruit for Rotting vegetables and then I bought "The Lords of the New Church" first album.

    I don't think really thought it was not Punk. I do remember a display in the Laguna Hills Tower Records for the album. One of the Lords of the New Church commandments was "Thou shall not worship any false Idols" (as in Billy Idol)

    Today I still have "Apocolypso" and "Eat Your Heart Out" on the exercise track on the iPod but all the tracks are cool.
